What device can I use for the distance learning course?
You will access your purchased course via a website, so any device with a reliable internet connection that allows for video viewing and ability to take an electronic test will be adequate.

After completion of your purchase of the course you will receive an email with a link to your course. You may also access your course by logging in to our Baldwin Virtual Training website and going to 'My Courses'.

Do I need a specific operating system to access my course?
No, all courses are via website so you may use any device with internet access.

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Upon receiving a minimum grade of 70% on the final test students will immediately receive their certificate via email along with a course outline.

When does the course start and end?
You will have immediate access to your course and there is no time limit for your access to the course materials.

Will I be able to contact my instructor with questions?
Yes, your instructor will be available via email for any questions you may have related to your course.

What information do we collect and what do we do with it?
When you enroll as a student or subscriber (“learner”) on our site or related courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address. Email marketing: we may send you emails about our site and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.

Engages in other violations of established policies.

Changes to course structure
All changes to any course structure or requirements will be addressed directly with the participant by the Coordinator Virtual Training.

Complaint and assessment resolution process will be as defined:
The participant(s) complaint and/or assessment resolution will be communicated directly with the Coordinator Virtual Training. The Coordinator Virtual Training will work in good faith to resolve the complaint or assessment issue. If unsuccessful, the complaint or assessment issue will be presented to the Evaluation Committee. The Evaluation Committee will work in good faith to resolve the issue and will determine the final outcome.

Records and certificates
All records and certificates of the participant(s) in Baldwin Virtual Learning will be kept in the management system for the duration of the Baldwin Virtual Learning program.

Scope of the training
Baldwin Virtual Training (BVT) was created to support safety management awareness across the organization as well as provide the organization’s safety manager with the knowledge and tools to effectively manage the SMS. The BVT courses were developed from the guidance in ICAO Doc. 9859, IS-BAO/H, OSHA, and 14 CFR 5 to help ensure the organization maintains a quality and robust SMS.
